Playback by selecting a chapter
1 Press B (Green) while the Thumbnail screen is
displayed.

Playback from the beginning or resume playback
When you play back the title from the Title List after you stopped playback, you can select playback from the beginning or from the point where it was last stopped. 1 Press D (Blue) when the desired title is selected while the Title List screen is displayed. 2 Press a/b to select the type of Playback, then press ENTER to start playback.
• The type of Playback may be selected from “From Beginning” or “From Continued”.
• If you want to select additional chapters, switch pages by pressing f or g. • To return to the Thumbnail screen, press B (Green).

Sorting the titles
Each time you press B (Green) while the Title Name screen is displayed, the Title Name display changes between displaying the newest title first and the oldest title first.

Playback using a USB device
You can play back video, music and picture data stored in a USB device, including a USB HDD and a USB memory device.
Searching/sorting the titles
Searching by title name
Searching by date
1 Repeat step 1–4 in Searching by title name. 2 Press a/b to select “By Date”, then press
ENTER.
• The screen for searching by date is displayed.

1 Insert a USB device* to the USB1 or USB2
terminal.
• YouTube/DLNA content cannot be recorded to the USB device. • Regarding playback of a music or picture file, see pages 35–36. • To play back a file or content downloaded from a streaming service, see page 59.
* When you insert or remove a USB device, be sure
to turn off the main power of this player and the USB device (only if connecting a USB HDD) and make sure that “Quick Start” is set to “No” (See page 47).

press b or ENTER. Press c/d to select the desired USB terminal (“USB-1” or “USB-2”), then press b or ENTER.
• The Title List screen is displayed.

• Depending on the format, some files cannot be played back. • To initialise data stored in a USB device or delete BDLIVE data, refer to “USB (HDD/Memory) Management” on page 54.

• The titles will be displayed according to the selected sorting type.

• The selection screen for searching/sorting is displayed.
NOTE
• When you sort titles by a sorting type, the type will be applied and the titles will be displayed according to the selected sorting type until you change the sorting type.
5 Press a/b to select “By Title Name”, then 6
press ENTER. Enter characters to search using the screen for inputting characters.
• For details on the screen for inputting characters, see page 53.
7 Searching starts when all required characters
have been entered.
• The search result will be displayed. • To cancel the search result and return to the Title List screen, press A (Red).

Selecting/deleting files
You can select multiple files on the Title List screen to delete or copy all at once. 1 When the Title List screen is displayed, press a/b to select the desired file or folder, then press B (Green).
• A check mark is displayed next to the selected file or folder. • The number of selected files and the total file size are displayed at the left of the screen.

Copying files/folders
You can copy file(s) or folder(s) stored in a USB device onto another USB device. 1 When the file(s)/folder(s) are selected at the Title List screen, press D (Blue). 2 Press a/b to select the destination to copy (“USB1” or “USB2”), then press ENTER.
• The selection screen for the destination to copy is displayed.
